How BBP Came To Be
I have been in digital development most of my life.
I have a background working at the nexus of marketing, media and technology. However I have always had a deep facination with the markets, and always planned on spending my “retirement” trading full time.
With the rise of vibe coding—and my dwindling interest in reinventing my skill set for a fourth time— my ability to sustain an income came into question.
Like many of my fellow Gen Xers who have not yet reached a post-economic state and are in the process of being rendered obsolete by AI, I needed to find a way to pay the bills—something with a real chance of remaining viable in the years to come. After much debate, I arrived at the counterintuitive conclusion that trading was the safest business I could pursue.
Trading stands as one of the last bastions of pure capitalism—where everyone gets the same shake.
So here I am, going all in on trading. I’m using prop firms to build my bankroll, and I’ll be sharing my entire journey with you along the way. I know there are others on a similar path, so I’ll also use this site as a platform to crystallize the lessons I learn—and hopefully help others avoid some of the costly mistakes we’re all bound to face along the way.
